I don't have gold and I'm able to use cloud saves on both xbox one games and 360 bc games. I'm not sure if there is a limit on the storage for cloud saves on xbox one games, but for the 360 it says that I have 2 gb of cloud storage for saves and I've only used like .1 gb of that.
