Gigabyte - geforce rtx 2070 8gb aorus video card

Very bummed, bought a Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070, witch is installed with a i7-8700 on a Gigabyte Aorus h370 board with 16 gigs dd4 memory from Corsair. the card out of the box could not play any of my games, in fact my old GTX 760 Windforce Gigabyte card with 4 gigs of memory works better, the rtx 2070 just crashes, or flickers a rainbow of colored dots all over and even leaves luminous green
